Customize this recipe with your favorite cheese and jam or tapenade.
Ingredients
For Jam and Brie Bites
- 2 sheets puff pastry
- 1 1/2 cups Sutter Buttes Jam; Meyer Lemon Ginger, Strawberry Vanilla, Blackberry-Raspberry, Warm Spiced Apple, Peach Bourbon, or Merlot Wine
- 10 ounces brie cheese, rind removed and cut into ¾ inch cubes
For Tapenade and Gruyere Bites
- 2 sheets puff pastry
- 1 1/2 cups Sutter Buttes Tapenade or Spread; Sun-Dried Tomato, Farmhouse, Spicy Antipasto, Porcini Truffle, Kalamata & Caper, or Green Olives
- 10 ounces gruyere cheese, cut into ¾ inch cubes
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- Cut each sheet of puff pastry into 12 squares and place inside mini muffins cups. (You may want to lightly spray to ensure they won't stick). Try not to leave any part of the muffin cup uncovered by dough or the cheese and jam will stick.
- Place a square of cheese inside each cup.
- Then add about 1 tbsp jam or tapenade on top of the cheese.
- Bake in a preheated 375°F oven until edges are a light brown, 10-15 minutes. Cool a few minutes (but not completely) before removing from muffin tins.
