Chickpea Tikka Masala

A super quick and delicious meal using chickpeas and Butter Chicken Masala Sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cans Garbanzo Beans (drained)
  • 1 Bottle Sutter Buttes Butter Chicken Simmer Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • ¼ Cup Water (you can use pasta water too)
  • ½ Tsp Salt (use as per taste)
  • ¼ Tsp Pepper (use as per taste)
  • 1 Tsp Red Chili Powder (use as per taste)
  • 4 Tbsp Freshly Chopped Coriander (can use Cilantro)

Method

  1. Heat a large pan/skillet and add 2 tbsp olive oil.
  2. Add drained chickpeas, salt, pepper, red chili powder, and sauté for 3-4 minutes over medium heat.
  3. Pour 1 bottle of Butter Chicken Masala Sauce, water and sauté everything.
  4. Let this simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Stir everything once and Turn off the heat.
  6. Transfer the chickpeas tikka masala to a serving plate and sprinkle fresh coriander or cilantro on top.
