This simple but elegant dessert comes together quickly. The addition of our Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar elevates the flavor making this dessert feel special.
12 Vanilla Wafer Cookies, crushed
2 tablespoons Sutter Buttes Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar
2 cups Fresh Strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 1/2 cups Heavy Cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Mint Sprigs for garnish (optional)
Evenly distribute thin layer of crushed cookies in the bottom of four small cups, wine glasses or dessert dishes. Spoon in sliced strawberries and drizzle with balsamic vinegar. Whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar using a stand or hand mixer to create stiff peaks. (Or use store bought whipped cream) Top strawberries with a generous dollop of whipped cream and garnish with mint if using.
