Peach Rice Pudding

Creamy and delicious - rice pudding that’s filled with peach and warm spice flavors in every bite.
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp Sutter Buttes Peach Bourbon Jam
- 1 Cup Basmati Rice
- 3 Cups Water (to cook the rice)
- 2 Cups Whole Milk
- 4 Tbsp Milk Powder (used for thickening the pudding)
- ¼ Cup Sugar
- 1 Tsp Cardamom Powder
- 1/4 Cup Slivered Almonds
Toppings / Decoration
- 4 Tbsp Slivered Almonds
- 2 Tbsp Slivered Pistachio
- 1 Tbsp Sutter Buttes Peach Bourbon Jam
Directions
- Cook the Rice first using 3 cups water.
- Once the rice is cooked, drain excess water using a sieve and keep the rice aside.
- Place a nonstick pot on medium heat, add the milk and let it boil (keep stirring the milk every 30 seconds). Add cooked rice and mix evenly.
- Let this mixture slowly cook on medium-low heat (stir every minute). After 5 minutes, add Sutter Buttes Peach Bourbon Jam, milk powder, sugar, almonds, and cardamom powder.
- Stir everything and let this cook on medium-low heat for another 6 minutes (stir every minute). Stir one last time and remove from heat.
- Let this Rice Pudding cool for 10 minutes as this will help thicken it further.
- Finally, transfer the Peach Ginger Rice Pudding in serving glasses.
- Top with almonds, pistachio, and dash of Peach Jam.
- Serve immediately or store in the fridge to serve later.
