Mulled Wine

Ingredients
- 1 (750 ml) bottle of dry red wine
- 1 orange, sliced into rounds
- 1/2 jar Sutter Buttes Mulling Spices
- 2–4 tablespoons Sutter Buttes Wildflower Honey, to taste
- 1/4 cup Brandy - optional
- For Garnish - Orange Slices, Cinnamon Sticks, Star Anise
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan, and heat just barely to a simmer over medium-high heat. Do not boil.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and let the wine simmer for at least 15 minutes or up to 3 hours.
- Strain, and serve warm with your desired garnishes.
Note: For a non-alcoholic version, substitute 3 cups of Apple Cider for the bottle of wine
