A delicious morning beverage or afternoon pick-me-up. Masala chai, authentic as it gets!

  1. First, bring water, milk and chai spices to a simmer in a small saucepan on the stove.
  2. Next reduce heat and add in the black tea bags. Wait for tea to steep –about 5-6 minutes.
  3. Add sugar to desired sweetness.
  4. Finally, strain the warm spiced mixture into a mug; this will hold back some of the spices and tea bags or leaves and enjoy!
