1 lb lean ground beef
2 Tbsp water
1/2 cup bread crumbs
3 Tbsp minced onions
1 Tbsp Sutter Buttes Tuscan Dipping Herbs
1 bottle of barbecue sauce (about 18oz)
3/4 cup Sutter Buttes Apricot Jalapeno, Hot 7 Pepper OR Pineapple Mango Habanero Jam
1/8 tsp each: ground cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, allspice and black pepper
Preheat the oven to 350°.
In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, egg, water, bread crumbs, minced onion and Bouquet of Herbs Seasoning. Roll into small meatballs. Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, turning once halfway through. In a slow cooker or large saucepan over low heat, mix together the barbecue sauce, pepper jelly and spices. Add meatballs and simmer for 1 hour before serving.
