Smokey Cheddar Beer Bread

When it comes to choosing the beer for this recipe, you have free reign. With so many fantastic options available, the possibilities for a variety of flavors are endless. Even try seltzer water or ginger beer for an alcohol free version.

Ingredients

1, 12 oz bottle of beer

1, 15 oz Bread Mix (included in baking kit package)

1 bottle of Sutter Buttes Extra Virgin Olive Oil (included in baking kit package)

 

Directions

In a large bowl: Pour package contents and beer all at once. Mix well, but do not over mix. The mixture should be slightly sticky.

Scrape the batter into a lightly greased 8” x 4” or 9” x 5” loaf pan.

Pour 2-3 tbsp of olive oil over top of bread

Bake: 55-60 minutes for the 8” x 4”, 45-50 minutes for the 9” x 5” loaf pan or until done
